Illustrations from Munro Leaf’s The Story Of Ferdinand (1936) by Robert Lawson.
Ferdinand as a child then as an adult returning to his favorite tree.
There hasn’t been a year so far that I haven’t done my summary thingy of favorite art for the year. for 2014 I’d like to get somewhat more consistent with my art and not be so hard on myself with it. I produced more I liked this year than I had thought. Hope 2014 is a year of major improvement!
i’m reblogging this because if any of my followers self harm, they need to understand that fall out boy doesn’t want you to
i actually saw this one night when i was in a horrible mood, wanting to cut… and then i laughed and cried because fall out boy saved my life… again.
i feel like patrick doesnt know what else to say besides that like he wants to help but he just said the first thing that comes to mind
i tried to scroll past this but that one reblog just might save somebodies life
Hey everybody, it’s that time of year again! This time it’s 2 sketchbooks - almost 100 pages all together! There’s tons of stuff for BFF fans, even some stuff for future chapters, so please check it out. Most of this stuff has never been posted online before!
(ps - reblogging this would really help me out!)
Spectrum 21: Gawki
Wow, holy cow. I’m super stoked and honored to have pieces selected for this year’s Spectrum 21 illustration book. (Actually being published in a book next to so many people I look up to is surreal.)
Two unpublished pieces of my original characters:
"Wandering" - Conceptual illustration of Bitterbug, a lone, head strong warrior, who explores worlds of static landscapes in search for why she exists.
"Unbirth" - Visualizes the tragic reincarnation of Lyle, a young, naive girl, who drowns, and is brought back to life by a demon who travels back with her to the mortal realm.
I’m so thankful to the judges, my art heroes and inspirations, awesome friends, and wonderful supporters and followers.
i struggle with not posting lil sketches and stuff all the time, so im putting a couple sketchbooks over here on gumroad!
theyre pay what you want, and i put them as low as i think you can, so its just a buck for 48 pages of sketches each
((disclaimer: neither of these pages in this post are from these sketchbooks, theyre just from the past couple days))
((also disclaimer: that most recent sketchbook is probably a lot more interesting to you than the first one if you had to choose))
*walks into school* actually, no thanks *walks out*
